I have been doing research on hybrids and want to own one but, a lot of the ac compressors go out pretty quickly. I live in Texas and have had numerous ac compressors go out in this heat. I was wondering does anyone offer re-manufactured high voltage ac compressors for the hybrids? Or you just have to shell out a couple thousand for a new one? Most likely they will not be releasing any kind of info on the process to do this kind of work but as a consumer under hard economic times,I still want to have that option and I want to be more eco friendly.
